Just recieved my latest edition of National Geographic. This is the first issue where an entire story was shot digitally. 'Wings of Change' . also I saw an add in there magazine for a book the have out, looks like it might be interesting. "National Geographic photography field Guide: Digital" $21.95 here's a link to there web site store

Hi!
I can only hope they made the right call and went Canon instead of the other one. Canon seems to be kicking their butt and handing it to them! Good one Canon!

I bet they used Canons, seeing as how it's one of there bigger advertisers :D

i think i read that canon 1D is one of the ones they use. Go Canon!

I'm sure that and the 1Ds, I can only dream of owning one of those. Love Canon, I've owned 4 course they were all 35mm film. loved them all.. but haven't shot film in over a year. :D

Well...... I'm sorry to tell you, but they used a Nikon D100 and D1X!!!

By the way, I'm glad that National Geographic doesn't remain stubbornly stuck in the film world... :)

It's cool that NG went digital, but I'm not sure they made the right decision. I hear that Canon is kicking its competors butt bigtime.
