Photo Posting Question

Simply put: In order to use the little yellow box above with the image tags, do I have to first upload a picture to, in my case, pbase?

Can I have a picture display in a post without taking that step first?

If so, can someone please explain how?

Well, you'll have to upload it SOMEWHERE or the thread cannot link to it. Upload it to the site of your choice, copy the url of the image and paste it into the box that comes up when you click on the yellow box. I'm not sure if PBase is ideal though, I had problems with it when posting on another forum. It would just show a 'red X' box, although right clicking THAT and selecting 'view image' would bring the pic up on a new page. In order to get them to embed in the thread, I had to upload them elsewhere (I use photobucket).

Having said that, I've not tried PBase on here so it may work OK.

Thank you. Reason I asked is because pbase will not upload for me tonight. Just sits there. Usually, I've had no problem with it.

Afraid you have to have it somewhere you can get a URL for it to include there. No URL, no picture.
