Nice shots John - I really ike the close shot of the guy's hands on the guitar.

Excellent images! There is little better for outdoor concert photography than a plain gray and black background with plenty of cloudy/diffuse light falling on the performers. #2 and #6 are my style ... love those head shots ... and both shot at 500mm. I have a 400mm f/2.8L IS on the truck from B&H as of this morning for just this type of shooting. Grand job.

Thanks, it was a good day out but it just got too crowded for my tastes in the afternoon.

Nice shots and like the others said, very sharp showing lots of detail.

Can you divluge your aperature/shutter settings. I struggle trying to get a good shot using Aperature in low light. i mainly use shutter 2.8 1/60

Nice shots! I was there too on the Saturday... I saw the proclaimers & jerry and the pacemakers there :) Didnt have the camera tho. I was just wondering where you took them from? Were you up on the raised platform on the water side of the stage?

Hi, I was on the water side of the stage for most of the shots.
