In the first people are looking all over the place, not at the camera. I think only the girl on the top right is looking right at the camera. The guys face is too dark. I don't like them not square with the cross in the background but that's not a big thing. I find the background a bit distracting. I like the pose though, and it's a decent photo overall.
In the 2nd it looks like you're 10 feet tall looking down on her, which isn't flattering. I would suggest being at about chest or neck height. The lighting is ok, but I don't like the background or the lighting on it.

Thanks Tim,
I do agree in the first image I should have them more bodily squared with the camera. I think that may be what is giving the image more of a sense that their not looking at the camera. (I did check the original at %100 and they are all looking at me during the shot).
The darker Male subject was a result of flash/bounce and positioning (I believe). A 580ex bounced into a 40" umbrella plus the black tux and the male’s slightly darker complexion...... Any help or suggestions on the lighting using 580ex flash? I do have more than one 580ex to use but have tried to keep it as simple and workable a setup as possible.

I was up a few more steps than the bride with a Canon 10-22mm (as that was to be more of a "dress shot" than a bride image) but I can see your point. It may not have worked as well as this other "dress shot" I have attached. (and yes the dress would not lay as well as we had tried to get it to, "Where's that hot wedding dress iron when you need it?" LOL .....Hey folks I was JUST KIDDING about the iron thing.....).
Thanks again for the CC. I really appreciate solid comments that can help enhance the work.....
