Shot Jeff Daniels this weekend. What a great show. Got almost 900 shots.
Jeff has a gift in being one of those people who can compose a song about anything right on the spot.
Each of his songs he did told a true story of some sorts and, truth be told, my sides still hurt two days after the show.
If you ever have the chance to see Jeff on stage... Don't miss it.

Stage Left, On the floor. And YES, the lens flair was intentional. The shot came out exactly the way I intended.

I like first, second and last (Lensbaby; Yay!)
Pity the last one is focussed on the stool, not on the head. Yeah, I know it's tough ;)

Say Frank, Good shooting.....
Jeff Daniels is a pretty good guy, if you consider him from the roles he plays in movies....I trust his music is of same personality...These PICs are real great....The last one, I'll need to keep reviewing till I get a better feel for it. #3 shows the music's feel and interpretation by, and the personality of the performer....
Frank, just a novice question, how did you program your name onto the print?
Mine Equip. (all Canon): 30D Bod., 50mm 1.4 USM, 50mm 1.8, 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 not USM kit stock, 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 IS USM Wide Angle Telezoom, 75-300mm 4.0-5.6 Telezoom, RS-80N3, several tripods, mono pod, no flash yet, dozens of filters/close up lenses.

Hey John,
I made a custom paint brush with the text. Any time I want to put a sig, I just use that brush, pick a color and click on the image.
I put it on it's own layer, then I add a drop shadow and a bevel.

Once I've got my key shots for an evening, then I start playing around. Different lenses, different perspctives, from the floor, looking for reflections etc... The lensbaby shots are ment to be "artsy" for lack of a better term. To me the images they can produce are very impresionistic.
Thanx much for looking...

Geez, Frank, maybe you should shorten your last name to Pie! :-) Very nice images and I, too, really love the feel of that last one ... but a LensBaby is way down on my list.

Nod... To each their own. ;) It's one of my toys. Once I finish with my normal shots, it's time to be playbaby...
Thanx for the comment.
