View Full Version : The Red Arrows, Hoylake, Wirral, UK

They come every year and give a display in support of the Lifeboat Station. My kids love it (my daughter who is 3 now wants to be the first woamn Red Arrow pilot). We were late getting there because of traffic and I dropped the kids off with my wife as the dispaly had already started. By the time I parked I only had enough time to jump on someone's garden wall (thank you kind people) and get a hanful of shots.

Makes me proud to be British seeing the best aerobatic team in the world! :D

Nice shots, I was thinking of getting to see it - I have family in Hoylake but unfortunately other commitments

Thanks Biko. You could always come over next weekend - the Southport Airshow is on and the Red Arrows - as well as many other things - will be back!

The first is my favourite , nice angle ! good luck to your little girl , that would be some achievement:D I saw them again yesterday @ Dunsfold the sight , sound and smell of the display makes me grin like a kid:D

I do wince a little everytime the do that crossover trick and I have seen it hundreds of times! :)

WOW! the 3rd and 4th shots are wonderful, talk about close flying, all the shots are great.

Thanks Sandy. I wanted to be a Red Arrow when I grew up and I suppose I still do! ;)
