After doing some reading here in the forum I decided to spend less time waiting for my Lexar 1GB(32x) CF Card to download, so I bought a new Lexar USB 2.0 CF Card reader....My computer is pretty fast but the USB 2.0 is amazing, if this has been posted before I appoligize for duplicating info:

Machine 3GHZ Athalon/Abit 72 Motherboard/2G of Statick DRAM/ XP Pro

38 Canon RAW format photo's ranging in size 5.5-6.2MG downloaded with BreezeBrowser's Downloader Pro.

Dazzle ZiO USB CF Card Reader......... 2:10.2 Minutes

Lexar Media USB 2.0 CF Card Reader.... :30.9 Seconds FLAT!

(Thats better than 1 image per second)

Life is good, just thought some of you would like to know, have a great Holiday!

What I found unusual was that my computer came with a built in 6-1 card reader. My USB 2.0 port reader is faster than the 6-1 reader.

Yeah, who knows, but I can tell ya the 2.0 Download is "Rippin" compared to the old.

Take Care,

that is probably cause the internal readers are actually
connected via usb ... which unless is one of latest internal readers will be usb 1

I too was rather stunned at the speed of USB2... it is indeed rippin!

Wait till you use it with a USB2 hard drive.. like when you atach an X-drive with a few gigs of downlaoded cards to your PC,. then in no time at all 4 or 5 gigs is transferred to the pc! :D

I've never come across a "Dazzle" product that was any good, in any form.

You realise USB 2.0 is about 480MB/sec. I'm not too surprised you did it that fast!
That is amazing you did the test. Cool!
