I am planning to be in Vegas over the holidays, and would love to take some photos of friends that will be there with me. Since flash would be disturbing in the casino, I would need advice on flashless shooting. I am using a canon 10D, with a 50mm, f1.4 lense.

You will more than likely get thrown out if you start taking pictures inside of a casino. I had a very bad experience and almost went fist fight city with a security jerk inside a casino. I just shot apicture of my girlfriend pukking a slot handle and this guy ran up to me and tried to take my camera, yelling at me that Iwas trying to cheat the casino or something. You shoulf ask before shooting, but I am pretty sure that it is not allowed. They think everybody is trying to cheat them somehow.

Do you realize that you just responded to a thread that is 4 1/2 years old and that the OP has not signed on for over 3 years?
