Two from Sunday's Sikh wedding
Very interesting, vibrant occasion with a full on traditional itinery, mixed with some modern. Lovely experience, only gutted that one of my CF cards failed and I lost a lot of the detail shots from the ceremony.
Anyway, C&C as always welcome.
1. Is the brides elaboratly decorated hands / arms with a money envelope
2. The other is after the traditional ceremony, the B&G sit whilst everyone else congratulates them.

Not sure I care for the crooked one, but beautiful shots.

I loooove the first one. It would be nice to see more. Not sure how I feel about the crooked one either, maybe it's just a little too crooked.

The shots of the brides hands decorated with mehndi is gorgeous. I'm wondering if a slight soft effect would work well to highlight the hands.
Did you get pictures of her hands on its own?

First one is great, 2nd is good but needs more contrast or saturation when next to that one.
What brand/model/size of CF card failed?

I love them... what bothers me on the second is that its tilted a bit much... straight on, or just a little tilt would work better

Hi, thank you for the comments, the first one I've cropped a bit as there were another pair of hands and it was just too busy. I do have more / lots of the bride, her hands etc I just like this one because of the red envelope. (It's hard to just choose 2 :) )
The second I guess is a bit too tilted! I was kneeling on the floor with the camera poked between someone's legs! The B&G were just surrounded by a sea of people. I just liked her expression, she was very happy but quite overwhelmed!
It also does look a little flat in comparison to the first. I'll try more saturation and contrast to see if that gives it a bit more.
Tim - the CF card (Kingston, 2GB) is the one from my other thread (where after deleting, formatting and filling the card up with the Sikh wedding when I put the card in the card reader it shows the deleted images from another wedding. I've tried recovering, thank you for the link, but had to face up to the fact the images are gone  )

#1 is spectacular... #2 has more possibilities with a little 'help'
