Does anyone know if the sig 17-70 will work with extension tubes (kenko specifically)?
i know it's a digital only, kinda like EF-S, and the efs won't work with kenko tubes. I hope the sigma does.

They'll fit. The problem with the EF-S lenses and Kenko tubes is the physical mount, and the 17-70 has a stock AF mount.

I was thinking about getting some extension tubes for my 17-70 to get a little closer.. I had the Canon 100mm 2.8 USM Macro on my camera on the weekend and I loved it! I know that lens is a long ways off before I'll have it, so I was thinking about the kenko tubes until I get a true macro lens. So, if you get them, make sure you post some images!! I'd image you could use those on a macro to get even closer?

i don't have the 17-70 yet, but since the lens can be used with ext tubes, it looks like i'm gonna have to get one.
