Is the structure or organization of file and folder in the flash card for IXUS digicam is the same as in Window ?

I am curious because in the manual it says :
"Filming may stop unexpectedly with certain types of SD cards (slow recording cards, cards formatted on a different camera or a computer, or cards which have had images recorded and erased repeatedly)".

Slow recording cards : no problem, the Sandisk card is OK so far

Cards formatted on diff camera/computer : no problem, I just have 1 camera & never format using computer

Images recorder and erased repeatedly : this is what I want to ask about :) Can you explain it why ?

Personally, I have had no trouble due to this. Between my A20/70/80 I must have taken > 15,000 pics by now. I always erase the pics with the camera. (Well, mostly!). However, the FAT will get progressively 'untidy' as time goes by. Perhaps this is what the camera operating system can't cope with. I always use 'erase all' once I have got my pics on my computer. If you habitually leave a few pictures on the card and never 'erase all', I guess you may hit trouble eventually as the card will become fragmented. So, there are two ways to avoid this. Always use 'erase all' or occasionally format the card.
Hope this clears things up for you.

Bad copy writers! They should have been more specific. That reads that after using the camera to record and delete a lot of images, (irregardless of method of deleting images) the camera is prone to abort recording movings in mid-stream. Yikes!

Should have been something like: ...or when available card memory is not contiguous but scattered between other images and movies.
