fail flash canon A70

I bought Cannon Powershot A70 and After two weeks, the camera fail.The problems is that the camera was bought in USA and I live in Argentina and I can´t send the camera to USA because I don´t have enough money.
When the camera needs shoot flash(in automatic mode), the photo is very darkness more than if I shoot without flash.
I saw than the camera don't shoot the second flash(first flash adjust image,and second flash use to take the image).
The camera with enough light works excelent and if I use the flash in manual work good.
My question is if the is contolled by the firmware.In that case what can I do to reload the firmware 2.0.0 because I can´t do that because I have the same firmware.

Check with your local Argentina Canon office at:

They may be able to help repair the camera.

In Argentina doesnt have the manual but how the camera is the USA the guarante doesnt work

That's sad. I guess they don't sell the camera in Argentina, so there is no need to learn repairs on it (yet)
Perhaps email or write Canon in USA and see what they suggest.
