Can anyone recommend a good and user-friendly software package for adding frames? Can you comment or offer advise on my workflow?

Maybe I have it wrong but at the moment I have to switch from different programs to get the results I'm happy with.

Although I have PS elements and PS6 loaded and used by my daughters, I find these packages too complicated for me and seemingly will need a lot of research to realize the power of these. But maybe also many features are included that I don’t really need. For sure red eye correction is far simpler on other editors.

I'm a G3 User, when shooting raw pictures I use breezebrowser for converting and editing, the results are usually very good plus I can add a watermark signatures.

I use ACDsee for photo management and further editing if necessary and the easy to use red eye correction.
Of course I can print from either of the above, but I also use Pixprint for special photo effects.

Too many programs maybe. Have I got it wrong?

Any of the above does not have a good photo frame option. Recently I tried a trial package from Turbo Photo it has nice frame options but other editing tools I don’t really need. Shall I purchase this for frames only or are there other options or plug-ins that can consider first?
Advise welcome

You can do frames with PS6. Here's a tutorial on adding a drop shadow:

http://www.pixelpixel.org/pstips/03.htm

Playing with the effects on the extra layer will gove different frames.

IIRC there are some example actions in the default.atn file.

Learn to use the software you've already got rather than buying extra packages.
