I'm shooting my wifes nieces wedding this coming Sunday. I've shot a couple of weddings previously this summer with a "new" wedding photographer. He's done about a dozen weddings or so thus far and I will be helping him on a few more later in the year.

I feel pretty good about what I've shot so far but I wasn't under the pressure of being the 'only' camera. I'll be shooting mostly with my 10D but am planning on shooting some of the poses using Portra film. Not worried about the digital but I really want to try the film. We have a good amount of time for the poses before the reception so that shouldn't be a problem to get a few shots.

Any advise? I know there are some lists out there for pose suggestions. Any idea of a website? (I'll be looking anyway)

Thanks!

Here's a shot from the last wedding I helped on ...

You're the "pro" at the wedding? or just helping out?

Film is fun, but the iso may prohibit large enough DOF or long enough shutter speeds to be effective. I shoot some velvia, provia, and astia, but only in select circumstances
