Pocket Wizard

My wife gave me an OK to buy a pocket wizard :-) , I need some recommendation please. I currently owned 2 800 alien bees, 1 580 ex. my budget is below $500.00, I don't want to spend too much on this since my next upgrade will be a 5D.

You going to need at least two Pocket Wizards (one on the camera and another connected to one of the strobes or flash). That's going to be cost you about $376 at B&H.

You'll also need a short length of miniphone-to-miniphone cables to connect one of the PWs to the AB strobe. You can pick one of these up from Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

If you want to connect the PW to the 580EX flash, you'll also need a miniphone-to-hotshoe adapter cable like this:
