I hope this message is not out of place. I am a beginner to
PS and would like more hints about how to use Linear Sharpen 3.05. Here's what I've done and where I need help.

1. I turn off color management.
2. After loading Linear Sharpen 3.05, I do:
File > Automate > Batch > Linear Sharpen and pick chooser, and my input folder (with 16-bit tifs) and my output folder.
3. I run the batch file and the output appears in my output folder.

4. To recover the various choices of images created by the chooser, I gather that I must go through the history of the action. What history settings are necessary to do this? As it is, I cannot find any images to recover.

5. Should I set a different output than folder?

Any concrete (handholding) advice will be much appreciated.

The chooser output cannot be batched, as 16-bit mode in Photoshop does not support layers. Now the image saved, if you batch it, is the last snapshot (high sharpening). It could be possible to record a 'save file' step instead of making a history snapshot, but this would be overkill in my opinion, or what do you think?

So, my suggestion is that you could use the chooser to decide desired sharpening level and use the according sharpening action for batch processing.
