I currently have a remote switch RS-80N3 plugged into my Canon 10D pc input.. If I get the DigiBee package..where do they plug into? Can I still use the remote switch? Can somebody explain the assembly?
I just got off the phone with AlienBee and they said since I have the remote switch I will have to buy a "hot shoe adapter". Their cost , $14.95. Where does that plug into?

I'm pretty sure the RS-80N3 plugs into a different hole, not the PC terminal. At least that's the case with my 20D.
Double-check your instruction manual. You should be fine.

correct, there are to terminals on the side, the little circle is for the sync cable, and 3 pins sticking out is the remote terminal

You DO NOT need a hot shoe adapter for Alien Bees if you are using a 10D. I can garauntee this as I have both Alien Bees and a 10D that has been used with them. I do not own a hot shoe adapter so one is obviously not needed. For trivia this also applies to D60, EOS-3, 1DsMkII, and Hasselblad 500 ELM. All of which set off Alien Bees quite nicely without a hot shoe adapter while using a remote switch.
Only the rebel's (300, 350, 400) need the hot shoe adapter and they need it whether using remote control or switch or not.
