A few from my first rainy wedding. The hard rain held off, but there were light sprinkles happening in all of these photos. Nice thing was that it was so hot & humid that no one minded the sprinkles at all! ...it was good for me to have to deal with less than perfect weather.. I think it showed though. This was probably my worst wedding this year.

Nice photos, #3 especially, and #4 has great colors though not sure about the pose.

I'm not on a calibrated monitor but take a look to check if the whites look a bit blue.

Well I want to see your best wedding if this was your worst, because I think those pics are beautiful.... my favorites are the first two

I agree about the blue whites, but even with that I like it

Thanks. Yes, the whites are a little blue. It was intentional. Not all the photos have that processing though. Just a handful. I think my best this year was the first...back in early June or the 2nd on the farm. I just didn't feel like I nailed this one. I was a little lightheaded all day, felt rushed, of course the rain put a damper on things... the couple was great, but they didn't always like to smile.

....oh, and the overcast conditions threw me. It was nice and even light, but it was bad light. I struggled to get the faces lit without blowing out that dress. Most of the time, I was having my assistant block light from above. I much prefer harder light that is at least a little bit directional.

I really like them, and I think they will too. That's too bad about the rainy conditions, but it looks like you still got some good shots. In these, at least, it looks like you did well to not blow out the dress. What was your PP on the first photo? The dress on my monitor looks REALLY blue, I thought the dress was partly blue.

good job! Love whatever action you used for the first.

i know wedding dresses are meant to be white, but i felt the light blue tinted images had a really nice feel to it. Maybe try a few B&W image conversions?

Great stuff! Love them all - #4 looks a bit awkward though. Is that midnight sepia on the first? My faves are # 1 &2.

thanks for all the comments. The first is a variation on midnight sepia. I don't really use any actions without modifying them...or at least I try not to. I love #4, because it has gotten such diverse reaction both here and another forum. Some love it, some find it awkward.
