raw photoshop cs format

unable to transfer raw files from eos-1ds to photoshop cs. Files are 16 bit but have ben converted out of raw format. Any suggestions.

I'm using a 10D and just got PS CS.

I use the Canon Zoom Browser to download the RAW files to a selected file. Then I go into PS CS to change them from RAW to something that is more useful.

I just double click on the RAW file and the RAW converter opens up and I'm all set.

But yesterday I inadvertantly opened up PS 7 not CS and I was scared to death for a moment when PS couldn't "see" the RAW files! Could you have done this too?

Open PS CS, select File Browser under Window menu and navigate to folder (on HD or camera) where RAW photos are located. The photos will appear in the File Browser and you can then double-click on any RAW photo to have it load into a converter window. After you select the changes desired, clicking on OK will open the photo in PS from where you can save the photo in desired format.
