I just registered the domain and I'm waiting on the nameserver to populate. I have a question about what software to use or should I just design the site myself?

Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Basically, should I do this with a database driven software, php, etc. or design by hand? I'm using jalbum to tied me over until I make a decision.

I think you should use Pekka's Exhibit Engine 2 when released.

Thanks Tommy. I'll look into that. I don't know PHP but I believe a few of my buddies use it.

You don't need to know php to use Exhibit Engine. Just as you don't need to know php to use coppermine which is also written in php.
