Please Critique 1st digital attempt at shows-POCO @ Penn's Peak

Please critique one of my very first attempts at shooting concerts with a new digital Canon 30D.:oops:

Poco at Penn's Peak, Poconos, PA, August 12, 2006 11:30PM.
No drummer pics, sorry.:o

Mine Equip. (all Canon): 30D Body, 50mm 1.4 USM, 50mm 1.8, 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 not USM kit stock, 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 IS USM Wide Angle Telezoom, 75-300mm 4.0-5.6 Telezoom, RS-80N3, several tripods, mono pod, no flash yet, dozens of filters/close up lenses

No flash, 50mm 1.8 lens...

Pretty good shots, first two are a bit red, but I would imagine that was the lights.

I thought I read them before, alas there is the "thread" that I'm unclear of. This entire topic is a thread? Or is it the first post and each response a thread of its own.

I'm guessing with confidence, this whole section above this response is the thread.... therefore I removed the 2nd PIC from the first posting and the 4th PIC from the second posting.

Thanks for letting me know.....The fist pic is with flash and dozens of stage lights.
The second is without flash Canon 30D, and is at Tv 1/30, Av 1.8, ISO 400, Canon 50mm 1.8 lens.

Yeah, the 'thread' is the entire topic.
You might want to get yourself a photo hosting account, such as at photobucket.com, then you can post up to 8 pics per thread.

Poco's a good band, I always liked their song 'Rose of Cimmaron'.

Say, KasiaFan,

It was a four hour concert in combination with two other bands. Firefall opened, followed by Pure Prairie League and then Poco.
I have dozens of pics and have not worked any of them up. I will persue the photobucket account cause I've got PICs from several other shows. The first 29 shows this year I shot with a Canon 35mm SLR. Many got posted at a radio station's web site. The film gave me great vivid colorful spot light results.

I shall post another thread of a different band, in a few.
