Well, after great advice from members here, I went for the 100mm canon macro...(thanks Kerso...super price and service)

here is a dining table shot of my watch! and a crop......resizing spoils things but WOW, this lens is sharp....I love it!

After reading this forum, my husband bought the canon and I bought the Tamron based on another recommendation...I like the Tamron a lot but my husband's canon outshoots it every time. Good luck with your new lens. Macro's can be TOTALLY ADDICTIVE!

I didn't know the 100mm Macro could shoot x-ray.

Where's the hands? :mrgreen:

Oh, wait, thats the back. Heck, that looks better than the front of my watch.

Awesome watch! Does it have the El Primero movement? I've been looking at the "open heart" version for awhile, but my camera gear purchases got in the way!

No, thats the ultrathin elite model, one of my other financial drains is watches!, just happened to be wearing it today.
