Very nice. Can you share something about the bands, venue and how you are involved?

Well, this was a rock show called Rocksession in Hard Rock Cafe and I went there to take pictures to fill my portfolio and then i can do business with the bands...

I like the pictures They all look very active - I know its very difficult in poor light. For me the last picture is not sharp enough - If it was meant to be differential focus with a sharp finger then I should crop the shot for head and finger only. embedded is one of my efforts of a band

I really like #1, 4 (crop a bit tighter?), 6 and 7. I like the focus on the last shot. Maybe brighten the hand a bit?
Pity the light is distributed so uneven on #5...

Jungie.... interesting venue. Looks like a great place to spend some time. I really do wish I could spend more time doing live event photography.

Babak, welcome to the forum.... nice work you have at your site. I look forward to your contributions.

Great series. I will be shooting alot of bands in my student union this year and i've just got the Tamron- how do you find it? I used to only use the 50 1.8 but I think i'll try and just keep the tamron on at all times. What kind of settings do you usually use? #1 and #3 are fantastic (do you have the exif for these?).

Hello there... That Tamron lens is great. As you can see the results are outstanding. I don't remember much about the settings but I think I was using these settings...

ISO 800
f/2.8
speed - don't remember

I think I was using my camera in P mode...

Thanks for the comment...
