View Full Version : CS2 for proofing?

I'm somewhat new to Photoshop and recently purchased CS2. I've been trying to find the best way to get away from any printed proofs. I've had proofs and proof magazine and for 600 to 800 photos the price is too much considering I only charge$1500 as my starting price.

Is there a way to create a gallery in CS2, burn it to disk and let the customer use that as their proofs? If so ... do I just create a web gallery?

In some experimenting today it looked like I could create a web gallery and burn it to CD. Then I believe you have to click on the index icon. Easy for me but didn't know if that would confuse a customer.

I've also considered using pbase. I can set the files to any size I want.

PhotoReflect is horrible because everything is so grainy.

So I guess what I'm saying is that I want to be paperless in my proofing process and I just haven't found what Im looking for.

Thanks ...

File -> Automate or file -> scripts has the web gallery function. I don't like it though. I use JAlbum with EOSTemplate (google it) for my proofs, it's easy and lets me do online ordering.
