I am new here. I took this picture while I was in Mexico last month. Is it any good? What could I have done differently? Thanks
info, Digital Rebel, Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS at 75mm, shutter at 1/500, aperture value at 7.61, ISO100

You'll likely get some feedback stating that the sun is too centered, the rule of thirds, etc. Of course, rules are made to be broken so I think it's fine as is. If I did anything to this, I might adjust the foreground down to a black sillouette (sp?) since there's not a lot of detail there.
Really a nice shot. Thank you for sharing it and welcome to the forums.

I really love the gold tones of this shot. Yr horizon is slightly running downhill to the right. Very peacefull image.

Amazing. Good colors! A lower angle would have made this shot more interresting IMO. That would have made the palm tree silhouettes cross the horizon. In that composition 1/3 sea and 2/3 sky...
