I took a few snapshots of a friend several weeks ago and she would now like to order 100 wallets. I use Printroom for most of my printing, but she would like rounded corners and they print 4 on a sheet... cut them yourself.

I've looked around for a cutting device, but since I'm ordering 100, I'd rather pay someone.

I've checked out the common print sites... Ofoto, Snapfish, etc... but it doesn't look like they do them thay way either.

I'm not a pro, so I don't have a tax id to use a professional service.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

This is a non-professional reply.

If you can get them cut to size, either by one of the labs or Kinkos..or someone else...

You can buy a corner rounding punch from a scrapbook store to achieve the rounded corners.

It's a little work, but it will probably be the cheepest. Just wear gloves when handling the prints to keep smudges off!

You can also get a punch that will cut each photo with rounded corners but you will probably pay $350-$500 for one! They are very expensive, but if you do a LOT of them it can pay for itself.

You can find corner rounders at craft stores for about $10. I have a couple I use for making stereo prints.

I'd recommend ordering your wallets (aka billfold size or "bf's" in the lingo) from a pro lab and requesting they be die-cut. You'll probably pay anywhere from free to 5 cents per sheet for die-cutting. They'll be high quality images with clean cuts. They'll probably come in 8x10 sheets of eight and you'll receive 13 sheets (104 bf's). Grab hold of the stack of prints in your left hand and break out each stack of bf's with your right (or vice versa). If you deliver in neat little cardboard wallet boxes like I do, you'll probably need three boxes to accommodate 100 bf's. I keep the remaining 4 wallets for self promotion. Another available service from your lab is name imprinting or your studio name/logo in the corner of the bf. If you are going to order a pose that you're particularly fond of, order lots of extras (you get much better prices when ordering in large quantities) and include them with your displays. Use peel and stick labels to include your studio name, address, and phone number on the back. Wallets also make great business cards. People tend to hold on to business cards that include images.
