Opinions? I liked the simplicity of the shot - still can't figure out how this tuft of grass is growing so closely to the edge of the lake.

i like the gradient & layers of colours formed by the lake & sand. it looks so peaceful :)

I do like the simplicity...but for some reason it doesn't do it for me as is. I think if the grass was a little smaller in the frame and off to one side (i.e., rule of thirds, etc., etc.) and then convert to black and white. Maybe a smidge more contrast?
Right now it is very symmetrical vertically. Perhaps more water on the right to show this single bit of grass in a big sea of 'nothing' so to speak?
But good shot. I definitely like what you were going for.
