Hello
I have tested the 70-200 4L + TC 1.4 in the ZOO (artis Amsterdam).
A pic of my son (Mike) and a pic of a Pigeon!
Does anybody have tips or tricks to get better pics?

The hippo is good and sharp - great detail. When I see people in Amsterdam looking like that pic of your son, I usually assume I've had 'one too many'!!
Can you tell me how the lense/extender combo works compared to the lense on its own? Like, how does the AF work? Is it as fast and accurate as the lense by its self?
Reason is I have the f2.8 version and was thinking of buying a 2x extender for next year, when I will (hopefully) be going on safari.
Thanks!

It works great! No difference in focus speed and it focus very accurate!
I will be working with the TC for sure the next time i am in the zoo!
I heard that the 2X TC will give you some loss in IQ! But with 200 x 1.4 x 1.6 crop i think i have enough reach!
