9/2/06 Pt. 1 - Grego finally shoots something! (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=211405)

1. The prepping. Probably the most nerve racking time. :)

2. I love light - except for some of the low light situations, the unexperienced main photographer(the paid one) put is into.

3. Cute little girls. What can I say?

I'll only reply to the pt2 thread. I think the images from a technical standpoint are good. Though some are a bit "flat" in colour as song pointed out, I think that should be a fairly easy fix in photoshop if need be.

What I would work on in your case (as I have myself also), is what you're tacking a picture of and how you're taking it (as in angle, framing etc).

I need to get my monitor calibrated I think. Damn, I know I shot it on neutral, but I did push levels, curves, saturation, contrast layers. Guess I gotta push it more.

Can you expand upon that? Maybe I'm just sleep deprived or just stupid.

Thank you all for your comments.

I don't know where these "flat" comments are coming from, but they look fine on my calibrated monitor.

They're not noticeably flat on my screen, either. Some are cropped a little tight, but I like them.
