Excellent shots, I like 2 & 3 most out of them all. They convey the power and speed of the subject to the viewer. All the other shots are great from a publication point of view. Great job

So tell me, generally speaking which one do Aussies like more the Holdens or the Fords?

Ok.. I didn't have any of those big L lenses on but I was sitting about 3 meters back up the fence from you guys.. LOL..
Top shots!
If only I could get inside the fence like the other's did!

I would say that depending on the day it's about 50/50. That's the good thing. It's a even rivalry. I'm a Holden man myself but as you look around there's a lot on both sides.

Thanks for the comments. I think there are more Holden fans than Ford.
Nidz, I was further down and next to these blokes for a while and then moved to the back straight. I had a 1D MKII2 N and a 400 f4.6 L.

Thanks Lenzflair, like 2 a lot love slower shutter speed pans. The new camera did a great job of focusing at slow shutter speeds compared to the 20D.

Love no1 and 4.
1 looks so clear yet you still capture the movement with the flames, well done.

Slow shutter speed pan (pic 2 1/40 sec, pic 3 1/60 sec), the slower you go the more motion blur you get.
