Last weekend (August 26th) was a major drag racing event at the Cayuga Dragway (now Toronto Motorsports Park).

This was shot with a very long lens (I "had no choice" but to use a 300 f/2.8, would've preferred a 70-200 2.8 )..how did I do? C+C appreciated.

Using a long lens sounds like a really good idea, particularly with the idiot on the extreme left in number 3 about. There he is, happily smoking his cigarette next to two drums of "racing fuel". Having seen that, I think I'd have gotten the 500mm out and moved back a bit.

Nice set. I like the first one. And the guy with the cig is and idot for sure.
