First Concert Photos - First post in this section

[GA_Teg]

This was my first time shooting a concert and didn't really expect to shoot it to be honest. I was brought out to shoot the bikini contest at a local bar/club for the big Labor Day Blowout and the entertainment after was a local cover band - Band X. I figured I would just see what happend and gave it a shot.

I know we have some talented concert photogs here and hopefully they can give me a point in the right direction. As always c&c is welcome and appreciated, just go easy since it was my first time. :oops:

All shots were done with my XT, 28-75 F2.8 and no flash at 1600 ISO.

Thanks James. I may see if I can pick up the local bar here to shoot some of their concerts and try to progress more.

Good 1st try. Better than I could do!! I tweaked levels on one for fun. I hope you don't mind me practicing.
