From articles in Outdoor Photography over the past year, it is obvious that Colin Prior has ditched his Fuji 6x17 MF panoramic camera for the 1Ds Mk II.

But do we know what lenses he uses?

No mention has ever been made of what lenses he uses, but one of his shots in last weeks Outdoor Photography mentioned the 24mm TS-E in it's caption.

So the question is, is this the choice for the professional who specialises in panoramic landscapes?

The 24 ts-e is the widest tilt shift, it would probably be one of my choices if i were into landscape.
I have read of a few people complain about the overall sharpness and chromatic abberation "even without any tilt/shift", i have not used this so i cannot verify.
