Cropping Size

Good Afternoon,

I have taken some pictures of some of my daughter's friends (Senior Pictures). These were done as a favor as most of them would not have been able to afford to have their pictures taken otherwise.

They have picked out 5 or 6 of them that they really like. I know they need some cropping to make them closer to that perfect print, but I am unsure of what a good size to crop them to is.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I don't want to crop them to the wrong size and have their prints turn out all wrong.

usually people crop it to ratio 1.5:1 - that's largest number of pixels devided by small and u should get 1.5 as a result... with this ratio u will be able to get perfect prints in following sizes: 4x6 , 8x12, 10x15, 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, 24x36
