Watermark how-to

I have been searching for a good tutorial on how to make watermarks and havent come up with much. Anyone point me in the right direction? :)

Thanks for taking the time to link these. I know it comes up several times a week but vbulletin search function, well for a lack of a better term, SUCKS because of the way they choose to parse through individual posts. ;)
