View Full Version : Mutton Busting! (AKA Crazy Nebraska Sheep Rodeo for Kids)

Alright, I thought I would introduce the world to this crazy county fair event I photographed as an intern this summer at a small weekly paper in Nebraska. The event is called "mutton busting," and basically it's an event in which kids try to ride a sheep for the longest amount of time. It's like a rodeo without an 8-second time limit. Most of the kids fall right off though.
Anyway, thought you might enjoy this wacky event.

Oh man i can't wait to take some muttin bustin pics...I used to do this as a kid too...lots of fun. We'll have some till february.

Yeah, he did. That kid rode the sheep clear across the ring.

Other wise known as organized child abuse. What town was this in I a rodeo photographer in Nebraska. I cant place this arena.
