Now that I have CS, is there a need for Breezebrowzer? Or should I be going from the card through Downloader, right to CS?

MrEWorm,
Well, I never got into using BreezeBrowser so couldn't tell you if there is any beneifit going that way.
I do however, go from card to CS via Downloader Pro and wouldn't have it any other way. :)

I have Breezebrowser and CS (and Downloader Pro). I got BB when I got my G3 a year ago and still use it with my 300D.
Typically, after downloading with DL Pro, I just use CS to convert the RAW files, but I still find BB useful. I prefer it as a browser and image viewer to CS. I can double click on a thumbnail and it'll open the imbedded JPG for a closer inspection. Much faster than using the CS browser. From BB you can CTRL-D and edit the image in whatever editor you define, so I can jump right from BB into CS.
Also, BB is better at doing a batch conversion. I recently took over 100 shots at a hockey game and wanted to burn them to CD-R for a family member. I shot them all in RAW because the lighting made the white balance trickey. I used BB to convert them all to high quality JPG en masse.
Lastly, BB does a good job of generating HTML. At work, we're repairing the roof and a lot of people in my office are wondering what all the noise is about. With the facilities manager, I went up on the roof with my 300D and shot some pictures of the workers and with BB was able to quickly generate a simple HTML page of the pictures and put it on the company intranet for viewing with a web browser. The facilities guy said he stopped getting phone calls about the noise now that people understood what they were doing on the roof.
So my work flow is Downloader Pro ---> Breezebrowser (for previewing) ---> Photoshop CS (for converting and editing).
Hope this helps.

I just got my copy of CS the other day. This is an amazing program. Quite a few improvements from 7.x.
I have both breezebrowser and C1 LE. I used BB if I was going to batch run the raw conversion and C1 if there were just a few to touch up. My first glance at the raw abilities of CS is that this will probably hurt C1 more than it will BB. Firstly BB is more affordable than C1. It's batching is unlimited only by memory with respect to the number of images you can do at once, C1 is 20. I think that there are a number of digital photographers that will not feel the expenditure on CS as being justified. The will continue to use other products and will still need to have a raw conversion utility.
I will continue to use BB until I get the hang of the raw conversion in CS. I will also continue to use it as a file viewing utlity which I think it is great in and for doing proofs and HTML files.
