Well, against my better judgement I trailed along to the Goodwood Revival Meeting on Saturday. It was dark and at times, very, very wet. Such is the joy of a late English summer.
#1 We'll start off with bikes and a pan shot because as you all know, I don't do either of those. Apparently pan shots are traditional with bikes though. This is a Matchless G50, BTW.

#2 The ultimate Ferrari GT, the incomparable 62/63 model Ferrari 250 GTO. You really don't want to ask how much one of these costs.

#3 Of course the peril of racing old cars, is that sometimes they go "bang". Here's an Alfa letting go.

#4 Another of those bike shots I don't do. After a couple of swings of the camera I got bored with doing pans and went back to a more "me" type shot. I'm probably breaking all sorts of bike shooting conventions. Tough!

#5 Another 250GTO - this time the very rate '64 model. Only four of these were ever built. As you can see it was extremely dark and soggy when I took that one.

#6 Another bike shot... this is my last one for a year or so. All you bike photographers can get back in your baskets now :p The rider is one Wayne Gardner, an Australian chappy who I am told is well known in the two wheels plus engine world.

#7 A Bugatti. Got to have a Bugatti at a classic event even if they are way off of "period".

#8 and finally, my favourite Ferrari. The mighty Ferrari 330 LMB. Again, there were only ever four of these.

Thanks for looking. Plenty more to see here http://gallery.ukmotorsportpics.com/c1072250_1.html!
