Boring day, stopped at the beach for a shutter "fix"..

The weather as been lousy here too, lots of thunderstorms and rain. We had a decent morning today, so between errands I stopped at the beach just up the road, needed to get a "fix"! If I don't hear the shutter go off at least a couple of time a day, I feel like the day was wasted! :D C&C welcome. Because it was noon and very bright I took this with ND filter and CP, RAW format, 350D.

That looks like a nice place,have you tried to get a picture of it before or after sunset?
There are some angles of fg interest there as far as i can see.;)
What are all these lines on the ground? pine tree needles?:confused:

:oops: Yes Dimitri, I see that the horizon is off - I kow I corrected it, must have uploaded the wrong one, or perhaps even didn't save the corrected image - all this sun and beach making me lazy ;)

and yes those are pine needles, very long soft ones from the casuarina or Australian pine that line the beach.

As for adopting everyone, well, I've been a soft touch, that's how Lucky the Dog Slayer managed to worm his way into our home!:lol:

Beautifully composed with interest front to back. IMO the sky does not have enough contrast though. That's propably because of the grad filter or was it just ND?
