two hundred miles from my place.
it was all-state celebration and guests were vopli vidoplyasova from ukraine.
they're the best ethno-punkers i've known from perestroika times.
it's +15 degrees out there but athmos was very hot.

Zydeco accordion is awesome with Louisiana bands.... Local bands entertain during festivals all the time...It's a colorful event and would make great subject matter for photography....

Anyone live in or near Cajun Country?

I wonder how the Ukranian accordeon stacks up to Zydeco?

PS: I hope I'm spelling Zydeco correctly.

those guys are very eclectic. thats what i like about them - they are open to everything. i guess they would do zydeco as well. in general they sound like crazy balcanian wedding band armed with electric guitars. blond guy is a leader and he's very busy showman.
very glad you guys enjoyed images and you'd love the band if you'd hear them.
