Maybe a little dark... I can't really make out which bit's which - looks like a backwards somersault?

yes, back-flip.
might try him as a silhouette one day.
i don't know if it's the darkness, or his arms and head being in the same place that makes it confusing. i'll look at different poses. . . .
thanks for the comments :)

Okay - you must tell. Is he suspended?
If the answer is yes, then you won't like my suggestion, which is to throw just enough light on his stomach to seperate it from the background. (because that would expose the wire and you'd need to clone it out in PS).
I think seeing his stomach outline would help with identifying what is what, although I must say I didn't have any problem with that.
I like it. ;)

ok, twist my arm . . .. .mmmmm . . . ok i'll tell.
he's totally suspended. two lines off his neck, two off his extended foot, one off his right shoulder. pulling those lines out in PS was actually no big deal cause so little of it crossed him.
i darkened up his torso specifically, i dunno, . . . i love the elegance of a black ninja . . . arms and legs just barely visible sliding soundlessley through the night.
however, while i can totally tell which parts are which, i agree that his head area is a little confusing. other pics i might not mind, but him i want crystal. (elegance, ninja, etc.etc)
i think the solution lies in bringing his left arm to almost the same angle as his right. mostly because that left arm bothers me for a whole other reason. . . ok, work with me here . . . if he is in fact doing a true backflip, ie. leading with one leg in an effort to land it either on the ground or the opponents head, both of his arms would be flung back. the full arch of torso and leg position jive with this . . . but his left arm describes a straight trajectory, a stabbing motion, so i think i'm going to shoot again.
(i hope this makes sense )
in the reshoot i'll provide a "lit stomach option" . . . just so we all can see.
also, a silhouette, cause i have a white ninja that i think might be better in this light.
thanks all!
edit: ok, three hours later, here is reshoot
thanks for looking!
