Thanks, a very informative and important article. This will certainly raise some eyebrows. There are often very misinformed comments and advice given in these forums about sRGB and Adobe RGB.

One thing especially important was this quote from the article:

With a RAW + JEPG capture setting, the color matrix settings selected on the camera will be used to create the JPEG. The histogram displayed on the LCD represents the RAW-to-JPEG conversion, not the RAW data.
which I did not know.

Ctrl-./, to rate files in ACR is a great tip.

With a RAW + JEPG capture setting, the color matrix settings selected on the camera will be used to create the JPEG. The histogram displayed on the LCD represents the RAW-to-JPEG conversion, not the RAW data.This is a huge reason to actually take some time to set up some in camera parameters, even if you are using raw only format.
