Does anyone know how to regenerate .thm files from .avi files so I can play them on the TV from my s230. I deleated the .thm's by accident.

Thank you, Derek

You could try saving a jpg image that was resized to 160x120 at low compression then rename same as movie with ext .thm, and see it that works.

Make another video of anything. Take that .thm, and rename it to the file of the video you want to play. You can delete the worthless video and keep the renamed .thm because that is now used by the new video. I had to do that today because I didn't realize what the .thm files were for.

For example Movie_01.avi needs a Movie_01.thm. Make Movie_02.avi and that makes Movie_02.thm. Rename Movie_02.thm to Movie_01.thm and delete Movie_02.avi.

If you do as daknsak suggests you will be able to play the movie - but the preview will show in the camera and zoombrowser as the gash movie!
I can't think of a better solution though.

Thanks for the help guys, but that doesn't seem to work. I did as you suggested with a new .thm and renaming it but I still get a message of "no images" on the display of the camera. Doesn't the .thm need to have a thumbnail of the first frame of the actual .avi?

Should have said - the camera is case sensitive - so that could be the issue. I tested it myself and it worked.
