rain and other night shot

Well, I have been using all the tips every one gave me last week- thanks alot- really!
Attached is one 2 pic in the midst of a torrential downpour. I was fortunate enough to be under a nice canopy. The 2nd shot is one taken at shutter speed: 1/125, aperture: f/2.8 at ISO1600. It makes it a little dark but the trade off seems to be less noise. Any suggestions?

for 1600 ISO, its very not noisy!

The second shot is very crisp and clear, and I think just playing with the level in PS would brighten it up fine.
