Protective filter?

I just got my G5, but I am unsure of what kind of filter to buy to leave on it all the time to protect the lense? Do all filters fit all cameras? Can someone point me in the direction of what I need?

Filters are sold based on size for removeable lenses. For the G5 you're talking about a proprietary accessory designed just for that lens. I did a Google search(www.google.com) "filter for G5" and there seem to be some available.
