I would appreciate any critique you could offer about the following images:

Jim,

I don't like the fact that there is so much area dedicated behind the fisherman with nothing going on. You should have composed the shot so that he was further to the left in the frame - looking into it, not out.

And of the other 2 I prefer the one below.

Hey!!! That’s Pounders Beach, best boogie boarding on the island  Beautiful place. But the pic would have been nicer if you had waited a bit for a nice big set rolling in and breaking on that point. Of course I wish I had know that when I was out there but I did get one shot with the wave breaking and posted below.

IMO:
#1 is oversharpened.
#2 is overexposed on the surf.
#3 has a nice composition but the overhanging greenery is a bit of a cliche framing.
What's good?
#1: tells the best story of the 3
#2: has the best action
#3: best in composition
