Back to school: Live music in the campus beer gardens!

Yesterday was the first day of classes at the University of Saskatchewan. The campus pub, Louis', has a beer gardens set up with live bands for the rest of the first week of school. There were two bands in particular that will have articles written about in our paper in the coming issue, so I shot some photos... while enjoying a cold one (or two), since it was in the beer gardens after all ;)

good action on the last one, definitely the most interesting from an implied emotion perspective. others look very strong technically, but not *quite* enough interest visually (#4 in particular is well-executed re: the shadows of the straw hat on the face).

Very nice, very nice. Comp on #8 is really fun. Crop on #3 is unfortunate but understandable, cutting off the guitar heads.

Nice and sharp and the colors look great. I really like six and how you can see the audience in his aviators. Very cool.

Crisp, sharp images and I really like the positive energy they convey. I like 5 because it conveys his connection with the audience in that moment.
