One shot from the Labor Day Weekend Classic at the local drag strip. Heavy dose of Nitro plus iron block plus night equals all the candles lit for a spectacular show. :)

Very nice! The distortion of the people to the left is a very good feeling/description of what your head feels like when these Bad Boys start rippin' down the track. Awesome capture!

Love that nitro! It's harder to shoot than it looks, but that is a nice capture - really gets the feel. Was that at Mo-Kan? Looks like their starting line crew.

Yeah, I griped out the MoKan staff for screwing up my photo. It's pretty lightless as is and they had to put a light where it would do the worst to my photos! :):p

Yes, MoKan. One of the best tracks in the four state area, if I do say so myself (I've shot at several). The Mokan crew is simply the best to work with, bar none.

My home track at Wichita has lights in all the wrong places. I have to use various signs and poles as makeshift shields to keep them from adding flare at night.
