No need for long answers here, just post what body you have and how many frames you have shot so far.

Since end Apr 03, and w/o camera for 2 months due to work, on pic #1950. I took about 40 more earlier today.

FYI: There was another question like this about 2 months ago.

D60, 11 months, frame counter is 2574, having passed 9999 twice. On the D60, the frame counter occasionally skips some numbers, so that's not a count of shutter clicks.

Odd. I haven't had that problem with my D60. Oh and I think the D60 is at about 6,000 or 7,000 shots.

Thanks Digital SLRs. No more waiting for film development.

Can't wait to get my L lens and see what kind of numbers I get on weekends.

I don't think it skips, If you delete an image on the fly, in the camera. The camera does not re-use numbers you delete.

Arround 4000 I saved in the last 6 months.

I don't keep the onboard numbering anymore, after some card swaps it was off so I started new, then after the upgrade to version 2.0.0 it started at 1500 again, so I don't know anymore :D.

If I have to make a guess, I guess in the 9000 shots.

Frank

Funny thing this topic is... before I bought my 10D, I had only used my D30. I shoot just about every single day...and with the D30...I shot sports, fashion, photojournalism, and events with it along with products, portratis...and glamour.. One day, for the fun of it I added up all the pictures in all the files I burned to CD.....and came up with over fifty thousand images NOT including the ones I deleted!! I say I must have deleted at least ten thousand images.....but I am guessing that I probably shot many more than that!

I had to get the hot shoe replaced as well as the PC outlet...and when I took it in for service, Canon also replaced the shutter.... LOL!! Gee, I wonder why! I do believe it didn't NEED one replaced but I don't mind all that much... I made my money back on that thing many times over!

I must say, the D30 is built very well!

Good shooting!
