I finally got a chance to visit the amazing Yosemite valley last week and boy did it live upto its name :) Though it definetly isnt the best time to visit for a photographer,I was absolutely thrilled by its beauty and found the 3 days we had for it very very short.
Though the sky was mostly bald and the waterfalls were mostly dried up i tried to do the best i could :) Im sharing my favourite ones here.
C&C Most welcome.

Thankyou so much guys. 1 is my favourite as well amongst the series. Bridal veil falls still had a trace of water, Yosemite falls were totally dried up.
Really really wish i had some more time to spend in the valley :) I must try and go back there next year now.

Absolutely gorgeous shots! I always wonder how many people go out and try to do what Ansel Adams did, but your shots certainly hold their own!

Thankyou guys :) ill share some more shots in the thread as well. Regarding the question on exposure on the first one, it was a one second exposure. I used a 3 stop ND Grad filter on almost all the sunrise/sunset shots to balance them out.

They are nice i must say but not ecstatic with them , apart of one exeption.
The first one , why on earth would you want to post it in such small size.
You`ve got a diamond of a shot here and you upload it as what...600X400 ?
What happened to 1100Xwhatever ?
I will not comment any further until you post the larger image.;)
I`m waiting...

Looks impressive but the restrictions are 800x800 so thats still a pretty decent size ... ;)

Daman, you've done it again! You have such a great way of showing the light. Numbers 3-5 are just incredible!

Aaaah,thats better,much much better.
Thats a stunning picture, one ting i would add to it to make it perfect would be...
Shadow / highlight in PS but only shadow and no more than 2 , and some usm but only on the fg , nowhere else.
Perfect light (thats what photography is all about) and you captured it in a great way my friend.
I hope a brighter future.

Thanks Becca,Dimitri and Toney :)
Dimitri, thanks again for the suggestion as well as the encouragement :) I'll try the usm and the shadow/highlight filter on the shot. I did run the shadow/highlight earlier on the picture but i think my brightview monitor may be the culprit here, i may need to open the pic up a bit more as you said. Thanks again!
